Adapt Your Thinking​.

The middle school printmaking class learned about how to create relief prints using recycled materials.  Students used an additive process to create a raised surface on the printing plate.  

 

Students learned about printing registration and how to align the plate or printed surface to alter the location of each new layer. 

 

As growing adolescents, food is commonly a topic of conversation in the classroom, so we pulled that into our project in order to modivate students.

 

The work on the left is titled "Ode to Bacon".
